THE WEDNESDAY LUNCH BUNCH meets every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Senior Center at 3201 Hillcrest (south of Cottage Hill). The cafeteria-style meal
averages $5.80, with other selections at different prices. The dining room is open to all ages, not just seniors or center members. All local hams and their guests, as well as anyone
interested in ham radio, are welcome. |
"The 146.82 is not working"...Before making this statement please consider this: Is there trophospheric ducting (band opening)? Distant stations on or near the 146.82 or the input frequency can interfere....Are you overdriving your audio?...this can interfere with the 203.5 tone causing the repeater to stop transmitting. The .82 is not perfect..it needs a better antenna and feedline, but is functioning well with the current equipment. For accurate information on what is needed to improve the .82, contact a club officer.
